This game is so charming and thoughtful! I loved everything about the atmosphere - from the music choices and the vibrant colors to the humor that leavens the heavier moments \o/

I really got a kick out of the posters for Heiden's other games :D and the meta humor made me laugh IRL more than once - it was fun and wry. But the tone change into more serious topics was natural and sweet, with little hints at vulnerabilities and sore spots poking through with each new conversation.

I liked and related to all the characters to an extent, but Lily especially hit me where I live. <3

(spoilers for the themes and ending)
I loved the messages about just wanting to be heard and comforted sometimes. I cried a little bit typing out my own message about my own issues I'm dealing with. I also liked that there is no neat wrap-up for the character’s struggles, but that permanently solving their problems isn’t really the point rather than being kind and offering the comfort they needed.

I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I drank in some lovely art with really cute girls with relatable struggles I would like to give hugs to, 10/10

Great mix of spooky Halloween fun, humor combined with explorations of heavier themes around being an outsider, the stresses of living in a society that forces us to pursue money and how that stress can reverberate through our relationships, and having a personal existential crisis in the middle of all of that.

I especially appreciated Peter (and Nico's family in general, even as the father's gambling problem is a source of frustration), Milo (adorable!! very good snow leopard boy trying his best, melted when he started purring lol), and Nico themselves for the complicated emotions they dealt with through the story. The writing around how they lashed out at Peter or Milo when tired and stressed and then regretted doing so was visceral!

Aesthetically, love the Halloween color scheme and just overall really great Halloween vibes <3 love the music as well :D the art is really fun and cute, especially the character designs - I'm a particular fan of Peter's sparkly eyes, and Nico's mother's look! Environment-wise, the casino is fittingly the sparkliest and shiniest to look at, but my favorite was the backyard because it was where I got to talk to Milo, haha.

Loved the humor and how the jokes were deftly woven in with the tougher parts - often, tying together to poke at companies who pretend to care about environmentalism or draw a line under the absurd hopelessness of a person trying to navigate systems that aren't built for them to win.

I got ending #6 and was delighted by a visit from a very special guy, and that's all I'll say about that :p Play this game if you want a fun Halloween jaunt with some messages to chew on!

Another absolute banger from Heiden!

I found the atmosphere in this game especially enjoyable - I love the blend of sci fi, western, and horror that somehow turned out feeling so effortless and natural! The soundtrack really backs this up, it's kind of a spooky farmcore spaghetti western feeling that I was vibing to the whole time and it really set the tone for the story!

I had a lot of fun figuring the puzzles of how to solve everyone's problems, and farming, and I adored Fanny's cold shriveled little heart and her unrepentant vicious greed, she's so interesting and gaslight gatekeept girlbossed her way into my affection <3

But Peyton and Phebe were the stars of the show for me - both their individual journeys as characters, and the slow and tender development of their relationship and the themes of them both being societal outsiders who learn how to deal with and ultimately support each other. I got Peyton's ending and it made me tear up with the combination of hope, sadness, healing trauma, and happiness. Loved them both so much!! There's a delicate examination of difficult feelings in this game, which I adored.

Play this game if you want a blend of farm simulator, creeping sense of tense horror every time it turns to 4 PM and you're not home yet (very effective at getting me to turn in on time and made me feel like such a rebel for sticking around to pick up a few more flowers), generational trauma, an examination of identity and sense of self, and sweet romance. :D loved it!

This game is so solemn and thoughtful! Really menacing, creepy atmosphere that draws you in and is well-complemented by the intensity of the art style and the music :D Really Makes You Think about tough decisions with no simple answers, cycles of anger and sacrifice and tragedy, and making a choice for you.

I especially enjoyed the sprite art and the battle animations <3!!!

Really atmospheric and lovely! My favorite part of the character designs was the obscured, shadowy eyes of the characters in the rooms.

I liked the exploration of the girl's free will versus the pressure to perform as others expect, and the piece-by-piece reveal of the truth.
